Our mornings are typically spent in the fantastic sunroom which has a futon, cute coffee/tea table for two, a laptop work station, and a water fountain. The room has wonderful views of mature trees at the front, and a vibrant garden in the spring and summer. Open the windows and front door to let the scent of roses and other flowers in. The futon can be opened to sleep two during warmer days. We have an extra space heater and blankets for cooler nights in the fall. The living room is charming, colorfully decorated, and has an additional reading nook with a small library where you might find an interesting read. The sofa in this space can be used as a single bed when needed. There are two loveseat sofas for extra seating and a rug that can only be enjoyed barefoot. The dining room has a bay window that lets in tons of light and gives you a great view. Off the the dining room is an open shelving full kitchen. It's a colorful space and has everything need to prepare meals. There is a designated coffee/tea station with lots of choices for loose tea lovers, and a Keurig. Small appliances for adventurists sandwich/quesadilla maker are also available. In addition to snacks and breakfast items, we keep a dry and fresh food emergency pantry for our guests. During the summer months, when our organic garden is ready, you can always step outside and pick fresh herbs and vegetables. We always used a separate room in the basement to watch TV. It's available for guests who wish to hang out there and binge watch their favorite shows. The room is nice, has its own heating zone, and comfortable lounge chairs. The shower room is on the small size yet luxurious. What it lacks in size makes up in charm and functionality. Finally, right outside the kitchen, there is a large screened-in porch with comfortable seating and a great view of the garden.
